How We Met

Well, let's see. This is kind of a long story going all the way back to when I was about 15 or 16. Luke was on the drumline in high school, but seeing as he was a senior when I was in 8th grade we were never on the drumline together. The next year, my freshman year in high school, I was on drumline. It was really through that how we met, as we had a lot of mutual friends from band. He came around a few times, but I thought he was scary(I don't know why). Fast forward to my junir year. I was hanging out with a mutual friend of ours and Luke invited him and I to come hang out at his then-girlfriend's house to swim. I borrowed her bathing suit. WEIRD. Fast forward to August 2009. Another mutual friend bringing me along to hang out with him. I thought he partied way too hard. We ended up talking and hanging out that night, and neither of us could have thought it would lead to anything more than a friendship. We started talking more and hanging out without our mutual friends there. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how much we had in common. Whether we were throwing back beers with a group of people of sitting on the couch watching COPS marathons, we were completely comfortable with each other and had a good time no matter what. So, at the end of September 2009, we became official!
