How He Proposed
June, 2010. We had been talking about marriage for a while now, looked at some rings, and I must say, after all the talking and ring shopping, I was getting impatient. He had gotten me a ring for Christmas, and in order to keep the insurance plan on it, we had to get it inspected at the jeweler. On our way out of the mall, we decided to stop in one last jewelry store to see if they had any rings to potentially get. I was losing hope, I didn't like any of the rings there. I told the salesperson exactly what I wanted. I wanted a cushion cut, with a halo. She shows us a ring that was already sized down to a 4 (my size) and was less than half of his budget. Cushion cut with a halo. Shiny as could be. Absolutely Beautiful. Luke went back the next day and purchased the ring and that night, on our living room couch, he popped the question! He was nervous and kind of stumbled over his words a little bit, but it was so sweet!
